The traditional concert that the Symphony Orchestra of Tenerife offers every year during the festivities of the city of La Laguna will be held on Friday, 4 September, at 9 pm, at the Cristo Square.
On this occasion, Víctor Pablo Pérez, the group's honorary conductor, will once again take up the baton to offer a festive, innovative programme that includes the absolute premiere of the German-American composer Franz Waxman's Carmen Fantasy for violin and orchestra and the debut of the great violinist Chuanyun Li in Tenerife.
Víctor Pablo Pérez and the OST will also join the Orfeón La Paz choir to offer famous opera choruses by composers such as Verdi and Gounod. Maurice Ravel's celebrated masterly Boléro will close this open-door concert for all audiences of La Laguna and the entire island.
