Pablo González has been assistant conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Young National Orchestra of Spain [JONDE], the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Bournemouth Sinfonietta.
In addition, he has conducted the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern, the Danish Radio Sinfonietta, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, the Sinfonieorchester Basel, the City of London Sinfonia, the Wiener Kammerorchester, the Orchestre National de Belgique, deFilharmonie, the Symphony Orchestra of Tenerife, the Spanish National Orchestra, the City of Granada Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, the Euskadi Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Bilbao, the Cadaqués Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Galicia, the Winterthur Musikkollegium, the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias, the Symphony Orchestra of Barcelona, the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, the Real Filharmonía de Galicia, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria, the Córdoba Orchestra, the Oviedo Filarmonía, the Symphony Orchestra of El Vallés, the Camerata Siglo XXI, the Extremadura Orchestra, the Young Orchestra of Andalusia [OJA] and the Young International Orchestra City of Oviedo, amongst others.
In 2000, whilst working with the London Symphony Orchestra, he collaborated with Sir Colin Davis in the recording of H. Berlioz's Les Troyans, which received two ‘Grammy' awards.
He has performed with soloists such as Maxim Vengerov, Renaud Capuçon, Viviane Hagner, Eldar Nebolsin, Alban Gerdhart, Jacques Zoon, Ainhoa Arteta, Asier Polo and David Fernández.
In May 2006, he was awarded the first prize in the 8th Cadaqués International Orchestra Conducting Competition. In 2000, he won the first prize -ex-aequo with François-Xavier Roth- in the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition. He also received an award in the 1st Granada National Young Conductors Competition.
In 2007, he toured seven Asian countries with the Cadaqués Orchestra, as a part of the Toyota Classics cycle.
His upcoming projects include performances with the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Hamburger Symphoniker, the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Warsaw, and collaborations with soloists like Rudolf Buchbinder, Truls Mørk and Javier Perianes, as well as a recording of two CDs with music by R. Schumann with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken-Kaiserslauten.
Pablo González is the principal guest conductor of the City of Granada Orchestra since October 2008.
