Tamara McLorg
Choreographer
Tamara McLorg studied dance in Posen -Poland- and London, and choreography in New York.
She was in charge of the "Dance Artist in Residence for Stirling District Council" project in Scotland for two years (1986-1988). Between 1988 and 1994, she was artistic director of the Dundee Rep Dance Company, currently the Scottish Dance Theatre.
Jointly with Royston Maldoom, she founded the Scottish Youth Dance Festival and was Assistant Director of the theatre with the same name during the 1988-1989 season.
Since the 1980s, she has directed dance projects in the Netherlands, Greece, Austria, the former Czechoslovakia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Siberia, Ethiopia, the United States, Peru and Brazil.
